Wm. Scott Ayers received his Bachelor's Degree in Management from Southern Illinois University, graduating with honors. He was awarded his law degree in 1986 from Western State University in Fullerton, California. While in law school, he received multiple American Jurisprudence awards. Mr. Ayers has served as Judge Pro Tem in the West and the Harbor Justice Centers of the Orange County Superior Court, and has been a mediator for settlement conferences at various California courts. He was trained as a Master Trial Advocate by the National Institute for Trial Advocacy through the Notre Dame College of Law, and has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association.

Enlisting in the United States Marine Corps at age 18 during
the Viet Nam war, Mr. Ayers trained as an radar technician.
He was rapidly promoted, being assigned to various commands throughout the U.S., Asia, and Europe. He retired at Marine Corps Air Station, El Toro, California in 1988 as a commissioned officer after 20 years of service to his country.

Mr. Ayers opened the doors at his first law office in the fall of 1986 in Laguna Hills. Since that time, he has been in general practice, serving the legal needs of hundreds of Orange County residents and businesses.

Wm. Scott Ayers and his wife Shirley reside in Nellie Gail Ranch in Laguna Hills, where they enjoy the frequent company of 4 children and 4 grandchildren. An inveterate tinkerer, Mr. Ayers' hobbies include computer building and electronics repair, general mechanics and home remodeling. He has necessarily given up his adventures as a scuba divemaster, and he now limits himself to the pleasures of performance cars and motorcycles.
